    Pete,

I called the city’s generic helpline once and they connected me with the proper people when someone graffitied the house next door to mine. In a rare case of excellent city service, they painted over it two days later.

Thanks, that’s helpful. A house on my block just got tagged.

  3. Mariah says:

Does anyone actually know how to remove graffiti. Are there any chemicals you can use? My house has some leftover graffiti, but it is not painted and I don’t want to paint it. I want to leave the brick plain.

They sell something at Home Depot billed as grafitti remover. I don’t know if it works or not.
