I thought I’d post this note from a 3rd St resident. I’ve read similar things on neighboring list servs:
As I was coming home from work tonite (about 7:30), I encountered this group of between 8-10 middle-teenaged boys at 3rd & Q St. They were walking up 3rd St while I was walking down Q St. As they passed me at the corner, they all turned around and started following me. I gave them a stare which caused them to pause. Then I was able to get into my front yard before they caught up to me, so they gave up. I hoped I didn’t overreact by calling MPD in case they continue to go looking for trouble. Anyways, just want y’all to be careful. I really want our block to be secure. H
