Seabury Ward 5 & Washington Gas Weatherization Project on Saturday, November 3, 2012

Good Morning Friends,
Seabury Resources for Aging Ward 5 has partnered with Washington Gas on their fall Weatherization Project for Ward 5 older adult homeowners on Saturday, November 3, 2012. Project Weatherization was developed by Washington Gas in 2006 and has been a very successful project run by their Employee Fall Community Service Team, which installs low-cost energy efficient measures that should help older adults lower their energy bills. Eligible candidates have to be 60 years or older, a homeowner, in good standing with Washington Gas, and be willing to accept this service and at home on November 3.

At least 50 Ward 5 older adults will receive light weatherization services from these trained volunteers such as weatherstripping, caulking, and new faucet aerators & shower heads. I need your help in identifying Ward 5 seniors whose homes are in need of this free service.

Please contact us or refer candidates to our Agency (name, address, age, & telephone number) no later than Friday, September 21, 2012 at (202) 529-8701. Thank you for assisting us in improving the quality of life for Ward 5 older adults.
