I hadn’t heard about this. From Bloomingdale list: Kim Wee reported a quick response by police after 4/13/2009 Timor Bodega Hold-Up. Description of Robbery:
At 8:30PM on Monday, 4/13/2009, two masked men entered the Timor Bodega at 200 Rhode Island Ave NW and held up two of my friends who were standing behind the counter. They were armed with what appeared to be pistols and demanded to know where the safe was. Upon learning that there was no safe on the premises, they emptied the cash register of about $60 in bills and left. While no one was harmed, weapons were brandished and pointed in the back of one victim, and the other victim was pinched as a question on the safe was put to her.
