— Adult spring clothing for men
— NEW plastic mattress encasements
— Food donations including coffee, cereal, mayonnaise, and pasta sauce (please make sure items have not expired)
— A rug cleaning machine for SOME’s elderly services program
Emergency Groceries Distribution has Tripled
SOME’s distribution of emergency groceries has tripled. In 2008, SOME provided clothing to 8,163 individuals and distributed 24,328 pounds of food. We need your help to continue to meet the basic needs of our city’s homeless and poor women, children and men.
Gather your friends, family and co-workers and host a fund raiser, or a food or spring clothing drive to benefit homeless and poor families and single adults, including the elderly and mentally ill.
