Cary, the president of the MVNSA proposes an alternative to the city’s plan of a parking lot at the Bundy School. His proposal puts a small parking lot, but also a playground, tennis court and dog park.

There is a brief mention of a possible dog park on the 400 block of P Street NW in the “ANC 6C” report in the July 2009 Hill Rag.

The ANC also heard from representatives of Friends of Bundy Park, an organization that is pushing for a dog park at the vacant lot on the 400 block of P Street NW.
While the location is not within the boundaries of ANC 6C, it is nearby, and the organization asked the ANC for a letter of support. No formal action was taken at the June meeting, but the issue is slated to come up again later this summer. More information on the dog park proposal can be found at http://www.friendsofbundy.net.
