Be on lookout for this stolen bike

From Jon on 3rd St:

This is a picture similar to our missing Marin Larkspur women’s bicycle. Please let us know if you see it! Just a friendly reminder that bicycles are a regular and easy target for theft. I would guess part of their attractiveness is the ease with which they can be passed-off or sold. I bring this up because a bike was stolen from my back yard Saturday night. The latch was bent open on the back gate, the cable lock was broken, and the bike stolen. The bike was locked in the back yard for quite some time so they may have gotten a good look at the lock and planned a way to defeat it. There are better locks in this world. In the end, bikes like to live indoors, out of the rain, and away from thieves. Also, register your bike at the National Bike Registry.
