Here’s a wrap up of events for the NJ and P St Billboard Removal Campaign for the week of August 3rd.
- Tuesday, August 4th: Presentation to Ward 5 Councilmember Harry “Tommy” Thomas, Jr.: We’ll regroup with the Councilmember next month.
- Sunday, August 9th: Petition drive at the Bloomingdale Farmers Market. We’re up to over 300 signatures now. Stay tuned for the next event!
Bates Area Civic Association 
Did anyone send a picture to Ward % CM Tommy Thomas, ref all the recent trash and vandalism on the bill board site? I find it interesting that an entire poster is missing. I cannot remember which add was stolen. Look for the people wearing the huge McCafe poncho.
Good idea. I took some pictures of both and will forward them along.
FYI, DCRA has been active is seeking removal of billboards in the Mount Vernon Triangle area.
