Here are the tentative plans for our next beautification event:
October 24
9:00-10:00 – Street clean-up led by CSOSA
10:00-1:00 – Tree Box Rejuvenation
1:00-2:00 – BBQ
We are awaiting some final approval regarding the BBQ and the approval of funds for the tree box supplies but I am sure all will go through!
CALL FOR HELP!!!! Anita and I could really use some assistance in planning and execution. We are looking to purchase Fall/Winter-friendly vegetation, tulip bulbs for planting, and hopefully secure donated mulch.
Would you serve as a block leader?? Help us identify the tree boxes in need of attention, rally neighbors (or “sponsors” of tree boxes), and oversee the work on the boxes. We should have enough money for about 40-50 boxes.
Whether you live on P, Q, Bates, First, Third or Fourth, we need your support! Please email me if you are on board.
