After months of languishing, it came down to an entourage of DCRA/DPW personnel and mega machines to abate the accumulated trash and debris on the billboard lot today. This blogger hopes that Clear Channel is appropriately fined and billed for the City’s efforts to clean up this nuisance property.

Yes, it was quite a production that day. Great photos, Denise. And the messages on the billboards, e.g. “RespeKt” and “We were warned” seem oddly prophetic.
