Over the past 3 weeks, there have been a number of robberies at gun point and with violence. These incidents have taken place closed to but not within our neighborhood. Until yesterday, the closest locations had been First ST NE at NY Avenue and N. Capitol Street at Florida Avenue NE.
On Monday, October 26, there were 2 robberies just inside our neighborhood boundaries. One was violent and the other at gun point. These are the police alerts sent out by MPD.

oh wow, the armed robbery on the unit block of P Street NW was in broad daylight. These criminals don’t seem worried at all about being caught. Perhaps someone from MPD could be asked to come to the next BACA meeting to talk about this.
