Seasonal flu vaccinations will be given free of charge to all DC residents by Because We Care Healthcare Training Center at Emmaus Services for the Aging’s Arthur S. Flemming Center, 1426 9th Street, NW, on Saturday, November 14, 2009, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The shots will be available on a first come, first served basis until supplies are exhausted.
The H1N1 vaccine is not yet available for the general population, but Because We Care will have them as soon as they are released. In the meantime, protect yourself and your loved ones from the seasonal flu that kills thousands of people each year.
