Winter Storm Watch for Tuesday, Feb. 8

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for the D.C. Metro Area. This next winter storm is expected to begin mid to late Tuesday afternoon, and end Wednesday afternoon. Temperatures will be at or above freezing at the onset, dropping to 25-28 overnight. At this time, a snow event is expected, with little mixed precipitation. There is potential for 5 or more inches of snow. This forecast will be further refined tomorrow.
