Mark your calendars now to attend Councilmember Thomas’ Ward 5 Expo on Saturday, March 6, from 9:30 am to 2 pm, at the Kellogg Conference Center, Gallaudet University, 800Florida Avenue, NE.
Registration begins at 9:30 am. The morning session, from 10 am to 12 noon, will feature updates on key economic development projects in the Ward and a panel discussion on what grocery stores look for when scouting neighborhood locations.
And as a new feature, the afternoon session, from 12 noon to 1:45 pm, showcases the unique and interesting small businesses that call Ward 5 their home.
