Per my earlier post about the Gage Eckington Park, the group below has formed to support a dog park. This park is at 3rd and V St NW and would be the nearest thing to a dog park we have in the BACA area. If you are interested in supporting this process, see below.

Dear Supporters of the LeDroit Park/Bloomingdale Dog Park:
Please join us for an important meeting this Sunday, February 28 at Windows Cafe at 11:30AM.
We will discuss the status of the application to DPR for the dog play area proposed in the park being constructed on the site of the former Gage Eckington Elementary School and what is needed from the community to move this dog play area forward. (NOTE: Some community members believe that the proposal is to make the entire park space the dog play area. The dog play area is ONLY A SMALL PART of the overall park design.)
