These walks worked very well when I lived in PSA 110. The walkers had a noticable impact on Southwest long before the ball park came along. We got to see MPD in action, we brough many people out of their homes, and we had a positive affect on blighted properties. It served to be a weekly meeting on what needed to be fixed in the neighborhood.
The walk was very effective. It ended with an arrest at the park.
