Huge loss for the neighborhood and the city. Where will people get old doors?

Brass Knob at 57 N St NW is Closing & Liquidating Its Warehouse
Passed along by Bloomingdale resident James Fournier:
After 30 years as Washington, D.C.`s premier architectural salvage warehouse, the Brass Knob Back Doors Warehouse, is closing its doors and is liquidating the contents of its warehouse. The Brass Knob Back Doors Warehouse is located in our neighborhood at 57 N. Street NW, between 1st Street NW and New York Avenue NW.
Among the items being liquidated are: 19th & early 20th century vintage doors of every type and style, claw foot bath tubs, antique cast iron radiators, antique bathroom sinks and toilets of every style and color; hundreds of vintage plumbing parts and fixtures, antique medicine cabinets; 19th century stairway parts, 19th century cast iron and ironwork, including antique fencing, gates, posts, railings, brackets, & much other cast iron ephemera for exterior and garden use; antique fireplace mantels, interior and exterior shutters, marble and granite, antique kitchen library cabinets, a menagerie of antique hardware, including hinges knobs, pulls, bathroom hardware, brackets of every shape and style, door and window trim, windows of every size and type; AND SO MUCH MORE acquired from 30 years of locating cool old things that cannot possibly all be listed here.
Best the simply go in and visit the warehouse – they are open Monday-Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. for the next two weeks.

This is a big loss for the neighborhood. We live only 2 doors down from the Brass Knob and they’ve been good neighbors. I hate to think about such a huge space sitting empty on our block.
Does anyone know the owners of the building? Any idea what their plans may be?
I agree Mac, I hope it doesn’t stay empty for too long. I am concerned about what kind of business would move in there. Is there a homeowners association in truxton circle? This one seems like it doesn’t include N street. Good to know there are more neighbors concerned!
