Your friendly blog moderator hasn’t been the best lately at keeping up with events in and around the Bates Area. I walked the dogs over last night to Beau Thai (yum!) to pick up a carryout order and Ward 2 Councilmember Jack Evans was there with a restaurant full of folks, in high-spirited talks about the empty lot by the Bundy Field and behind the now-Safe Shores/ Bundy building. (The lot is on the 400 block of P St.) The meeting was presumably called by Shaw activist and CCCA President Martin Moulton, himself always highly spirited. I would have stayed longer but the dogs curbed outside prevented it.
Martin refers to the meeting on the CCCA blog and in a prior post talks about the problems at the Bundy lot. Thanks Martin for your efforts. Keep up posted.
