“Per the inquiry about the DDOT wall project on North Capitol Street. I heard back from DDOT today. The agency indicates that the wall is a 3.50 feet (3 ½’) tall safety wall on the median to protect the ornamental fence where cars keep running into it on North Capitol Street. The wall has a stone phasing similar to the adjacent wall. DDOT indicates the wall will be aesthetically pleasing. DDOT indicates that the project started today and should be completed in July 2011.”
