Interested in growing your own food in a new community garden? Live in Shaw, LeDroit Park or Bloomingdale? Submit an application for a garden plot in LeDroit Park`s new community park, on the former site of Gage-Eckington Elementary School.
Common Good City Farm will be hosting a lottery for the plots. Applicants are encouraged to submit an application form in advance.
Applications available online and on the farm. A section of raised beds will be reserved for elderly, beginner, or disabled gardeners.

I’m not really interested in a garden plot, but I assume some of my neighbors are. Its a shame, from their website it appears only Shaw, Bloomingdale, and Ledroit Park residents are welcome.
I certainly hope they dont ask my dog for immigration papers when I bring him to the dog park!
