Re: ABRA License for Capitol Food Mart -1634 North Capitol N.W.
The ANC 5C respectfully requests an extension of the deadline to submit our comments to the application for an ABRA license in the above referenced matter in conjunction with the wishes of the proprietor of the Capitol Food Mart. We request this extension in order to collect additional community input to facilitate an informed vote at the next properly noticed meeting of the ANC 5C.
The upcoming meeting of ANC 5C is currently slated to be held on April 19, 2011. The residents’ response at the ANC meeting this evening was in overwhelming opposition to granting the license, but the ANC wishes to gather additional information from residents within the local area.
