Okay, not yet, opening is not until later this year but renovations are making great progress. March 19, 2011, I and other members of North Capitol Main Street were given a tour of the building. The Firehouse will host fund raiser for North Capitol Main Street in April of 2011.
The Firehouse will be composed of 2 floors of restaurant space (first and second floor). The 3rd floor will have a bar and an open deck space. There will be private dining rooms on the 2nd and first floor for small private parties. Outside sitting will also be available during the warm weather. Valet parking will also be available.
It is exciting see this type of way overdue development in our neighborhood. Walking distance sit down restaurant that is not a fast food dive. Make sure to attend the grand opening.
