BACA is saddened to hear of the death of neighbor Darnell Latimore, who died suddenly in his sleep this morning. Darnell was the chief breadwinner of his family and worked as a bus driver for D.C. Public Schools.
Those who knew him say he was always a cheerful and friendly person who watched out for his fellow neighbors. His wife (Shirley) and his children are devastated as he just celebrated his 64th birthday earlier this month with no indication that he was in any immediate health danger.
