Advisory Neighborhood Commission 5C is pleased to announce the lifting of the 2011 grant moratorium. The commission took a few months, to review and revamp our grant guidelines, to provide a more rigorous process that encouraged fresh innovative grants. We believe we have achieved this and look forward to once again providing the 5C community with grant opportunities.
Now that the restructuring process is complete we will begin to review and issue grants immediately. To accommodate potential grantees we are holding a special public meeting to review and vote to approve grants that need to be awarded prior to our next monthly meeting on Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Potential grantees must provide documentation supporting their request to present at this meeting. All parties seeking to present grants at this meeting must submit applications by close of business Wednesday, May 25, 2011.
