Flower Power 2011 walk and reception, June 25Friends and Neighbors, It is time to enjoy the warmth and wonderful plants, flowers and colors of our Nation’s Capital. We invite you to be a part of our neighborhood garden walk and reception. During the neighborhood walk, you will see some of the best gardening in our community and experience the different styles and architecture of our homes. You will be invited to neighbor’s front and back yards to see the great garden each home has to offer. At the end of walk, you will vote on your favorite yards and help select the best in each category. Of course, it is summer, so a reception will follow. The reception will give you the opportunity to meet new neighbors and catch up with old ones. When: Saturday, June 25, 2011 4pm – 5:30pm Garden Walk 5:30pm – 6:30pm Reception Where: Walk will originate at the Florida Avenue and First St. Park Wine and Cheese Reception will be held at 1500 First St. NW Tickets are $10 each.
