The Bates Area Civic Association

The Bates Area Civic Association, Inc. is a community non-profit organization representing the residents of the community within the boundaries of North Capitol Street on the east, New Jersey Avenue on the west, Florida Avenue on the north and P  and O Streets on the south ; and serves as a liaison between the residents of this community, Advisory Neighborhood Commission (ANC) 5C, the City Council and the District of Columbia Government on quality of life issues including: economic development, public safety, and human development.

Or Making a $10 Donation

Funds will go towards the 2012 work plan:

Beautification of Business District Corridor, Neighborhood Garden Walk/Reception, National Night Out, Florida Avenue Park activities, Neighborhood Spring Clean Up and Tree Box Planting, other activities.

  Program Will Include Recognition of:

DC Government and Community Partners

CM Harry Thomas, Metropolitan Police, ANC, Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, and DCRA

Community Spirit and Outstanding Neighbors

The Residents that have contributed to the Civic Association and our neighborhood through: volunteer work, support and leadership on initiatives to improve our neighborhood.
