A chef tells me that he has just signed a lease near the O Street Market (we should know the exact address soon) for a space that will become the Butcher Shoppe. This is the same chef who was deciding between a wine bar and Tavern that we spoke about last December. He has decided to change the concept to a casual BBQ joint with a beer garden that will feature home made sausages and smoked bbq serving ribs, briskets etc.”
