Faith Based Event

Dear Faith-Based Community:
We are asking for your help in making sure the word gets out for our next Faith Based Event, Thursday, May 24th, 2012 at 6:30pm at Friendship Baptist Church. We have been working with the faith-based community since we had our very successful Meet and Greet in November. We have gone out to several churches in the community hosting seminars such as Financial Crimes Against Seniors, Domestic Violence, Crimes Against Seniors and Vulnerable Adults, and Safety Presentations throughout the community.

We have reached out to other churches and invited them to be part of these very important seminars. We do hope that these seminars brought our community closer together to make a difference in what we have learned about the community, and what we can do to make it a safer and a better place to live and work. You the church, have provided a strong voice against violence, and you have continued to work to provide a sense of safety. You have also increased ministries that work tirelessly to improve the lives of not only the young people, but our vulnerable residents as well.

We are asking that you SAVE THE DATE, and spread the word. Tell your congregation, ministries, and your neighbors to come out and be a part of the solution, and join us for our first Faith-Based Town Hall Meeting. We will meet on Thursday, May 24th, 2012, at 6:30pm., at the Friendship Baptist Church, 900 Delaware Avenue Southwest, Washington, DC. 20024.
We are looking forward to seeing you at this important community event.
