The Bates Area Civic Association announces the election of The Executive Committee and at-large Executive Committee Representations. All residents of the Bates Area in good standing are eligible for nomination to any of the Executive and one of the at-large Executive Committee positions. There are eight vacant positions in total. Members in good standing have paid dues in 2012, and attended at least 3 BACA meetings. Nominations can be made at any time up to the September 10th, 2012 meeting, and can be made from the floor of that meeting. Residents are encouraged to make nominations ahead of time in order to best prepare the ballot. Residents of the Bates Area live within the area bounded by:
Florida Avenue from NJ Ave NW to North Capital St NW.
North Capital Street NW from FL Ave NW to P St NW.
P Street NW from North Capital ST NW to 3rd St NW to Q St NW back to NJ Ave NW.
