As part of the redistricting that will take place on January 2, 2013, our Single Member District (SMD) and Area Neighborhood Commissions (ANCs) will be changed. We are currently part of ANC 5C and our SMD is 5C01; which is represented by Commissioner Bradley Thomas.
On January 2, 2013, our SMD will be 5E05. Mr. Thomas is running for re-election and to represent our new SMD. He is challenged by Joyce Richards Pauls from Hanover for this seat. Both candidates have been invited to participate at the October 1 BACA meeting to address our neighborhood and help you decide on a candidate.
