The Office of Planning and District Department of Transportation have exciting news to report!
We’ve launched a landing page for the Mid City East Initiative at www.midcityeast.com. The website will evolve over the weeks to come as OP and DDOT teams develop content. Through the website, the community will be able to:
- · Sign up for electronic notices to stay involved
- · Learn about upcoming meetings
- · Review presentations and reports
- · Give us feedback through social media
We’ve scheduled the first public kick-off meeting for April 27, 10:00 am-12:30 pm at the Community Academy Public Charter School Auditorium, 1400 First Street, NW. The meeting will be fun, informative and meaningful for all ages. Please help us get the word out and distribute the flyer attached! We’ll also have a series of walking and biking tours on April 26 and April 27 (see attached).
