Here are flyers for the upcoming ANC Single Member District meeting. Please share with a neighbor
to inform ANC-5E constituents of ongoing projects, programs and updates on development in our area. The
tour of the new Dunbar Sr. High School will begin at 5:30pm on June 11th. Please meet at 1st and
O Street NW and wear appropriate shoes for walking. If you are unable to attend this tour, we will
set up another tour at a later date and time.
The meeting flyer announces the meeting, which will begin at 6:15pm at the New York Avenue Playground Building.
We will provide additional information on the new Nutrition Site for Seniors in 5E05. This site will fill a void for seniors
and disabled residents in this community. Come out to the meeting and take information back to a senior or disabled neighbor
in your block. The menu for the Office of Aging site tomorrow will be collard greens, fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, etc.,
and a free trip to the Universal Circus.
July 7th is Ward 5 day at the National’s Baseball Game and your Ward 5 Councilman has free ticket for Ward 5 residents.
