Bates Area Civic Association

On June 20^th, Councilmember McDuffie, along with the Deputy Mayor for Public Safety and Justice, the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), and community stakeholders will host a public safety and crime forum to hear what steps MPD is taking to ensure the safety of Ward 5 residents and to discuss crime prevention strategies. The forum will be held at the Israel Baptist Church, located at 1251 Saratoga Avenue, NE, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Parking available in the church’s rear parking lot.
