H Street NE Closed Between 4^th and 14^th Streets on September 21, 2013

Closure for H Street Festival

 

(Washington D.C.) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) would like to advise travelers that H Street NE, between 4^th Street and 14^th Street, will be closed on Saturday, September 21, 2013, from 3:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., for the staging of the H Street Festival.

 

DETOURS

• H Street NE Eastbound – Traffic headed eastbound on H Street NE will be directed right onto 4^th Street NE, left on F Street, and then left on Maryland Avenue toward H Street / Benning Road.
• H Street NE Westbound – Traffic headed westbound on H Street NE will be directed left on 14^th Street NE, right on Maryland Avenue, right on G Street NE, right on 2^nd Street NE, right on I Street NE, and then right on 4^th Street NE to rejoin H Street NE.
• Northbound traffic (South of H Street NE between 3^rd Street and 13^th Street) – Drivers heading northbound between 3^rd Street and 13^th Street NE south of H Street NE will be detoured along G Street westbound, turn right at 2^nd Street, then right onto I Street to rejoin the road they were travelling on.
• Southbound traffic (North of I Street between 3^rd Street and 13^th Street NE) – Drivers heading southbound between 3^rd Street and 13^th Street NE, north of I Street NE, will be detoured east along I Street NE, turn right on Florida Avenue, turn right on 14^th Street NE, and then turn right on G Street NE to rejoin the road they were travelling on.

 

Temporary signs and traffic control measures will be in place to alert and guide the traveling public through the work zone.
