Free Plants for Neighbors!

| Come get your free plants, folks! As construction of First Street, NE is nearing the halfway point, construction will switch to the east side of the street starting Monday. In order to save hundreds of plants, One NoMa Station, the property at 131 M Street, NE (the water tower building), has generously offered to give away their landscaping along First Street, NE, between L and M Streets, NE. NoMa neighbors are invited to come dig up the free plants on Saturday, September 28, from noon to 4 pm. Please bring your own tools, and take care not to disturb the irrigation system. The NoMa BID Clean Team will also be removing some plants for placement elsewhere in the neighborhood. Plants include hostas, grasses and other perennial bushes and groundcover.
