I apologize for the late notice, however the Executive has asked that Councilmember McDuffie add the surplus disposition hearing for J.F. Cook School to the agenda of our previously scheduled joint hearing with Councilmember Bowser, this Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at 3p.m.
After speaking with Commissioner Robinson-Paul it is our understanding that both the ANC and Civic Association have expressed support for Mundo Verde obtaining the property. As such, Councilmember McDuffie has decided to accommodate the Executive’s request.
If you would like to attend the hearing it will be held in Room 120, on October 22, 2013 at 3p.m. If you would like to present testimony at the hearing, or submit testimony for the record without appearing, you may email Ronan Gulstone (rgulstone@dccouncil.us<mailto:rgulstone@dccouncil.us>).
