November 21st marks the grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting ceremony of the City Market at O Giant food store. “We have been waiting for this moment and restoration of the Historic O Street Market for a long time and the new CityMarket at O Giant Food is the first of its kind in Washington, DC,” said Councilmember Evans.
Located at 7th & O Streets, NW, the Giant Foods at City Market at O is a 72,000 square foot store providing approximately 160 new jobs for local residents. The Grand Opening Premiere Night Celebration is from 5-8pm with the ribbon cutting ceremony at 6pm. “I hope everyone joins me for this momentous occasion and you can also can get an early start shopping for those Thanksgiving essentials” said Evans.
