Great news — the pool at Dunbar High School opened to the community today. The hours are weekend only:
2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays
9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays
The entrance to the pool is at the back of the high school at 1st and O St, NW, and you need your DC driver’s license. There are a few lanes open for lap swimming and half the pool is reserved for frolicking. Visit and swim. Please request and support the addition of weekday hours. (Let’s use it so that we don’t loose it, again.)
