Temporary Off-Peak Lane Closures on Southbound I-395 Near Massachusetts Avenue NW from February 22 to March 18, 2014
(Washington D.C.) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will be making bridge preservation repairs to the Massachusetts Avenue NW bridge over I-395 (3rd Street Tunnel) from Saturday, February 22 to Tuesday, March 18, 2014.
These repairs will require temporary closures of the left lane on southbound I-395 in the 3rd Street Tunnel during this period. These temporary closures are scheduled to take place at nighttime on weekdays, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., and on Saturdays—as needed—from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Temporary signs and traffic control measures will be in place to alert and guide the traveling public through the work zone. DDOT encourages all motorists to stay alert as they travel through the work zone.
