This a special joint meeting for the Single Member District, Bates Area Civic Association and Hanover Civic Association residents to solicit community input in the McMillan Community Benefits Agreement (CBA). As part of any development project, there is an opportunity for the surrounding communities to request and negotiate specific items that will benefit the community (examples include: financial commitment to Ward 5 specific job training or changes to the plan for additional affordable housing).
This is a chance for our community to discuss and request items that will best benefit our neighborhood. The quality of the benefits should outweigh the negative impact of the project on our community.
Meeting Agenda will discuss other developments and provide neighbors with an update on the Mid City draft work plan.
