At Open Arms Housing, Inc. we pride ourselves on being good community partners. I know you share my desire to make our community one of the best places in the nation to live, work and raise a family. That’s why I am sharing this information about Do More 24 with you.
Open Arms Housing, Inc. (OAH) is collaborating with the United Way of the National Capital Area for Do More 24 on June 19. This 24-hour online giving day encourages donors to support nonprofit organizations that address our region’s most pressing challenges. Last year, donors contributed more than $1.3 million to local nonprofits.
As part of this special event, Open Arms Housing would like to invite you to our Open House, Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 4-7 p.m. We are using our Open House as a social action platform to educate our community leaders and supporters about “Housing First”, which prioritizes access to housing for people who have been homeless.
Please come and take a tour of our building, The Dunbar and see first-hand the work of OAH. Mingle with guests; enjoy refreshments as we host a presentation and discussion to the community about “Housing First”.
