The 2014 Flower Power Winners will be announced at the Monday, July 7 Bates Area Civic Association Meeting. The meeting will take place at 7pm at Mt. Sinai Church on 3rd and Q St NW.
The Winners are:
- Best back yard – 1 winner
- Best front yard – 1 winner from P St, 3rd St, Bates, R St, 4th St and New Jersey Ave
- Best front yard – 2 winners; a tie from Q St NW
- Best front yard – 1 winner
The winners for best front yards and best back yard will select from a drawing for one of the following great prizes:
- A bottle of red wine, wine opener picnic kit and $10 to Big Bear Cafe
- $50 certificate to Red Hen Restaurant
- Gift certificate to Bacio Pizzeria
- Gift certificate to Aroi Thai Restaurant
- Gift certificate to Rustic Tavern
- Gift certificate to Point Chaud Restaurant
- Free manicure from Glamour Nails
- Free hair cut from Fresh Cuts
The Best Tree Box winner will receive a $10 certificate to Big Bear Cafe and a bottle of red wine.
