Weekend Closure of Southbound I-395 HOV Lanes on July 18-21, 2014
(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will close the HOV lane on southbound I-395 from 9 p.m. on Friday, July 18 to 5 a.m. on Monday, July 21, 2014; weather permitting.
Regular, non-HOV lanes on southbound I-395 will be open to traffic during this closure. This closure is necessary for bridge preservation work.
Temporary signs and traffic control measures will be in place to alert and guide the traveling public through the work zone. DDOT encourages all motorists to stay alert as they travel through the work zone.
