The Bates Area Civic Association is an IRS approved 501(c) 3 organization. Though the Civic Association was always a non-profit, a 501(c)3 status will allow all contributions to be tax deductible under IRS guidelines and make the corporation eligible to apply for and receive different grants.
Thank you to the efforts of Christa Fields, Recording Secretary who took on the task of completing the lengthy application. Thank you Kyle Thomas, Treasurer for your support in completing the financial information.
