SURVEY: SINGLE MEMBER DISTRICT MEETING DAY & TIME
Single Member District (SMD) meetings are our opportunity to come together to exchange information about the issues affecting our neighborhood. They are also my chance to take the pulse of the community to find out how you, as the residents of this SMD, would like me to vote on matters that come before our Advisory Neighborhood Commission, ANC5E, which holds public meetings on the third Tuesday of every month, at 7 pm at Trinity University on Michigan Avenue, N.E. It is my goal to have the widest level of participation in the process so that all voices are heard and all residents have a seat at the decision making table. To that end, I am seeking out the best time to schedule monthly or bi-monthly SMD meetings. It is anticipated that meetings will be 60 minutes long (90 minutes maximum). I hope to hold them in the time slot that is most convenient to the largest group of citizens.
