Join DPR and host Washington Parks & People at the beautiful Josephine Butler Parks Center for a morning workshop on how to advocate on behalf of your Park and Recreation Center! Presentation by Empower DC Executive Director Parisa Norouzi and Q&A with your fellow Park Partner, The Friends of Ridge Road, who will share their first hand advocacy experience. A light Continental breakfast will be served.

BACA resident Melanie Hudson plans to attend on behalf of the Florida Ave Park and a potential Friends group through BACA and should report back at the BACA January meeting.  Thanks, Melanie!
