Good Morning All:
With a foot or more of snow being predicted for this coming weekend, please be aware that the city will be issuing tickets and imposing fines on residents who fail to shovel the sidewalks in front of their homes within 24 hours after the snowfall ends. Persons 65 years of age or older and persons with disabilities may be exempted if they file the exemption application which can be accessed through this link: http://leaf.dpw.dc.gov/WSAExemption/
If you qualify for the exemption or you have a neighbor who does, please apply or help that person apply now before the snow starts falling.
