BACA Clean-Up Day this Saturday, April 23rd, at 9:00 am!

Hello neighbors!  This Saturday morning, BACA will focus on cleaning up our neighborhood – picking up trash, cleaning alleys and Florida Avenue Park, and weed removal from tree boxes.  David Hall, the BACA president, is also donating flowers and mulch to be used for tree boxes at the Florida Avenue Park.  Thanks to David!

Please join us and meet at the Florida Avenue Park at 9:00 am on Saturday if you would like to help out with these activities.  Trash bags and bottled water will be provided.   Some planting tools will also be provided, but feel free to bring your own (shovels, spades, trowels, etc.).

If you can’t make it to the park, you are also welcome and encouraged to get outside with your neighbors to beautify your own blocks throughout the day!

Please note: There will be no distribution of flowers purchased with the designated ANC funds at this time – we will have another event in the near future for a larger planting using these funds, with additional mulch and supplies for planting and cleaning to be coordinated for delivery from the city. Stay tuned…….
