Most of us, by now, have heard about the multiple victim shooting which occurred at North Capitol Street and New York Avenue at about 4:30 pm on Wednesday. The Metropolitan Police Department will be holding an Emergency Community meeting on Thursday, June 9, 2016, beginning at 7:00 pm, at the Fifth District police station, 1805 Bladensburg Road, N.E. I plan to attend and I encourage anyone who is looking for answers and solutions to attend as well.
