The notice, authorized by DCRA Director, Linda Argo, cites DC Code that stipulates that billboards must not be located within 200 feet of another billboard and within 200 feet of a residential neighborhood. The notice also stipulates that the billboards must come down by Oct 6.
After months of languishing, it came down to an entourage of DCRA/DPW personnel and mega machines to abate the accumulated trash and debris on the billboard lot today. This blogger hopes that Clear Channel is appropriately fined and billed for the City’s efforts to clean up this nuisance property.
